Good itinerary and guides Good hotel, but location was inconvenient
Our tour director, driver and local guides were wall great. We saw everything we hoped to see. The things that prevented me giving this 5 stars were the perfume visit and the restaurants. Not that the restaurants were bad but there were really not very good either. The reason I say this is the service and food quality compared was not nearly as good as the restaurants we picked ourselves. We did not spend a lot on dinners ($120 for two) and they were fantastic. The only exception was the lunch we had, that we great.
Our tour director (David) was great. He was very organized and flexible to meet the groups expectations. Our driver was (Terri) was great too. We saw all the sites that we expected to. Also, our local guide (Andrea) really helped bring all the history to life with her in-depth knowledge about about all the sites we visited.
Never have to worry about anything. Even the Paris transportation strike was handled by our tour director David and our fantastic and patient driver, Thierry. Our local specialist, Andrea, was an entertaining and informative fine arts professor. Even the rain and freezing temperatures were manageable. Excellent experience.
Jonathan, our tour guide was superb! Such a great historian and so much fun. He was full of surprises, too. And, our driver George was awesome! This was my first trip abroad and I found Trafalgar is definitely the way to go. I hope to go to Europe again...soon! Merci!
