I would have liked more time in one city example Edinburgh.
While it is a very busy trip, everything we saw was worth it. Our travel director was great to keep us on schedule and to ensure we saw the best past of each stop. There was such a variety of experiences. We saw beautiful architecture, experienced the culture, breathtaking scenery, local food and were able to meet many wonderful people.
This trip was amazing! The stunning views and architecture, the history, the wonderful local guides we met, all of it. It had a great variety of unique experiences. Yes we did a lot of traveling by coach but that is to be expected when you book a trip that covers such a vast area. I think this trip was a perfect introduction to England, Wales and Scotland. I cannot wait to return again. ********** was also an excellent travel director. He made the experience even better. Matt had a tremendous amount of knowledge about all of the places we visited, he was very entertaining, and made sure everyone was comfortable on the trip. This was my first trip with Trafalgar and he set the bar high for future Trafalgar trips and travel directors. I would highly recommend this trip.
By the end of the tour I was over seeing churches and castles, too many. The hotel in Glasgow had no air conditioning and it was a very hot night and was a very uncomfortable sleep. Some of the coach seats had very little leg room which was very uncomfortable.
Wayne our coach driver was amazing, he stepped up when our travel director was unwell. Not only did Wayne drive us to the next location he told us facts about the site and kept us Covid safe as well.
A wonderful tour in safe, knowledgable and friendly hands.

This was an excellent tour for our first visit to great Britain. It gave us a sampling of most of the main regions of Britain. When we first saw the itinerary, prior to booking, we thought it ticked all the boxes of the main sights we wanted to see. We were not disappointed. It delivered on everything it promised and then more! The optional tours enhanced the main itinerary. Because they were reasonably priced we were able to do at least one each day they were offered. Meals and accommodation were great in every place we stopped. The coach was very comfortable - just that big step up to the aisle was a bit of a "killer" for someone with short legs!
We could not have wished for a better team! Our Travel Director, Jake, was excellent. He interacted well with everyone, informed us about what we were about to see and gave us the historical background and further information when needed. Everything ran smoothly under his guidance. Our bus driver, Dave, was a skilled driver. we felt safe with him at the wheel and he was always friendly. Amy kept us all up to scratch on our fitness and well being and did this in a cheerful manner. The local specialists were all excellent, but Paula in Liverpool was amazing. we could have listened to her for hours and what a depth of knowledge she had on Liverpool and the Beatles! The Staff at all the hotels were helpful and friendly, especially at Laggan.
The itinerary was excellent. Part of the joy of the trip was being able to experience so much different scenery and so many different venues. I didn't get enough time in some places but that was balanced by seeing so much in one trip. The coach was reasonably comfortable and I appreciated the daily seat rotation that allowed all of us to get good views of the towns and countryside we whizzed through. It also enabled us to sit near different people each day. Hotel accommodation, food, and service ranged from good to excellent.
Our Travel Director, Coach Driver, and Local Specialists were generally very helpful. The Tour Director was entertaining and educational. He kept everything organized and moving while simultaneously making sure that individual needs were taken care of as much as possible. He genuinely seems to love his job. The Coach Driver was a wizard. He got us through tight spots with that big coach that seemed impossible. The local specialists were good. My only quibble is with the Liverpool guide who started her tour before all of us were off the
