The itinerary was excellent 8 days through France, along the French Riviera and ending in Rome. Our coach was comfortable, and Louigi our driver took care of all of us like we were his family! Thank you Louigi! Highly recommend this trip.
Martine, our host was brilliant! Our tour of Europe was amazing and I would highly recommend Trafalgar - professional, organised and highly experienced. Thoroughly enjoyed the 'unique' places we visited that we would never have known about. Can't speak highly enough about the trip and in particular Martine's knowledge, humour, friendliness and care. Thank you so much Martine.
It is run at a nice pace with 2 nights in most places, except 1 so you at least get 1 full day to wander around each town to see the sights. Lots of time traveling on the bus and really you just get a sample of each place you stop at and for some places that's enough and for others more time would be nice but it's all personal preference.12 days is the perfect amount of time. Great fun!
Wonderful experience for my family and I. Organisation was great with only a couple of hiccups along the way. Tour took us to all the places we wanted to see and more if you take up the optional experiences. Optional experiences were a little pricey for a family of 4 so I suggest that you pick and choose if you're watching your $$. They do ask for tips and recommend an appropriate amount. I would suggest prepaying these up front if you choose to, as it's a lot of money for a family of 4 at the end of a tour and money is running out. Otherwise great tour and would gladly recommend to others.
